BATON Bearers at The Commomwealth Games

We are delighted to announce that both Jenny Waggot and Jackie Robinson have been selected as BATON Bearers at the Commonwealth Games this summer.

A great opportunity and representing The Warwick Boat Club.

All 4 Nations Tennis Championships played in WREXHAM

The 4 Nations Championships were played last week in Wrexham.

Hugh Jacques Captained the England Mens over 45's Team.

They won their event and Hugh personally won 5 out of 5 wins.

The other members of the team were Hafeez Hameed from Essex and Gordon Armstrong from Leicestershire.

Overall ENGLAND tied with Scotland across all of the combined events.

Seniors World Championships in the USA

Jenny Waggot, member of the GB over 75's team recently won a BRONZE medal at The Seniors World Championships held in Florida USA.

They beat South Africa, Netherlands and Switzerland and so won their group.

They played the winners of the 2 other groups, France won GOLD and USA SILVER, who they lost after 1-1 in the singles but lost the deciding doubles.
