Diminishing Whist Drive

The Diminishing Whist Drive on January 18 went very well and organiser Lyn Taylor reported that the feedback was good.

A delicious supper was produced by Diane Harvey and helpers. Altogether 29 tickets were sold and a good profit was made.

Prizes were presented to the winner Martin Lusby and runner-up Mike Wade. A surprise prize to the person sitting on a chair with a special card pinned underneath it wen to Lauren Wade.

Lyn added: “The only downside to the evening was it was very poorly supported by the bowlers, but had good support from friends of bowls.”
