WBC Welfare Officer Vicki Ward worked for the NHS for over 30yrs. as a Registered General Nurse. Vicki’s many jobs included Intensive Care Sister, American Red Cross Nurse, and over 25yrs in Primary Care as a Practice Nurse/Specialist Practitioner and Prescriber. During her time in General Practice she gained extensive experience in caring for the psychological, physical and mental health of adults and children.

Vicki has been a member of Warwick Boat Club for 29yrs and is a keen tennis player. Over the years she has participated in the coaching and played in the league and various teams. She lives locally in Warwick with her partner, she has twin boys and five grandchildren of various ages.

The club is a place of sanctuary, fun, fitness and should be open for all to enjoy and feel welcome in a safe and inclusive environment.
Her background experience certainly compliments the role as Welfare Officer.
