Marcus has represented Great Britain at Junior Level and was selected to be in the Davis Cup team against Austria,  His junior world ranking was 14 and senior world ranking was 326 Singles and 221 doubles. Marcus has played in the French and US open and competed at Wimbledon many times . He has been coaching several nationally ranked juniors in Surbiton, London and at the National Tennis centre.
