NHS visitors keen to take up bowls

A group of people from the NHS South Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group visited the Boat Club recently to have a go at bowling. Ladies captain Di Wood, vice captain Chris Hurst and Jacqui Ashley gave them some basic coaching. After their visit CCG admin officer Vicki Vernon wrote to thank Di. She said: “Thank you so much for allowing us loose on your lovely green recently.  Everybody had a great time and, as you know, several have shown a keen interest in taking it up (fingers crossed – I will keep reminding them). Please pass these thanks onto your fellow bowlers and the greenkeeper.”   A group of people from the NHS South Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group visited the Boat Club recently to have a go at bowling.
