WBC achieved their first friendly win of the season by defeating Home Guard 47 - 38. A close contest where neither side was allowed to get too far in front. Martin Dean took his team of Rod Bambridge and Peter Lamb to a last end victory to win by one point. The other two rinks of John Labrum, Peter Robertson and Stephen Hunt & David Carson, Alan Harvey and Colin Harris both won by four points.
